Five is Alive

21 Sep, 2007

A designer always holds their breath every time they move a beta site over to the live server. The fear of some overlooked detail or that nagging thought of it going up in a ball of e-flame could unnerve a lesser person. Of course, you can always ftp any changes and make sure that everything is fine after the fact, but that gives the subconscious compulsion that there's always something that can be tweaked or improved on. This is why so many designer's websites are always 'coming soon' and they feverishly peck at them in between projects or late at night. Today, however, I held my breath and clicked 'upload' and here before you is the fruit of that one moment and the uncounted hesitations leading to it.

fiveThis represents what I believe is the fifth version of Kobot Industries' website. At least I think it is. I had this great photo of a '5' taken at my parent's farm and I really wanted to use it for something. So let's just say we're at kobotindustries.com version 5.0!

I've included a lot of sites in my portfolio that I've had the pleasure of working on over the last year. I have a few more to add so check back regularly. Take some time to look over them and get a feeling for what I do. I've also included a philosophy section which outlines my thoughts on design. It's important to me that the people that I work with understand how I operate so the relationship can be as fruitful as possible.

I am currently working on a few projects: a website for the Canadian Burn Foundation, a site for Little Letters, a few shirt designs and a couple fun projects as well. If you have any questions regarding what Kobot Industries does, please do not hesitate to email us at info@kobotindustries.com.
